RECLAIMING THE NATIONS FOR CHRIST

The Reclaiming South Africa For Christ Biblical Worldview Summit received delegates from as far afield as Arizona and Zambia, from California to the Congo, from Nigeria to Botswana, from Zimbabwe and from all over South Africa.

Guest lecturers included Bishop Peter Ndhlovu of the Bible Gospel Church in Africa, Pastor Tim Makamu of His People, Creation Science evangelist Philip Stott, American evangelist and artist Paul Young, Mrs. Dorothea Scarborough of the Gospel Defence League and George Oesch of KwaSizabantu Mission, along with Frontline Fellowship missionaries, Dr. Peter Hammond, Charl van Wyk and Timothy Keller.

Along with Bible Drill, hikes and sports, a visit to the penguins on Boulders Beach, and outreaches to Simonstown, Fish Hoek and Masipumalele, participants took part in Just A Minute debating skills games, and a hilarious Variety Concert. Films shown included Hotel Rwanda, The Da Vinci Deception, A Tale of Two Cities and Hell’s Best Kept Secret.

A parallel children’s programme was held incorporating the Evangelism Explosion and Walk Thru the Bible presentations, memory verses and a Reformation project. Children at the BWS learned about each of the great Reformers, and produced a large Reformation map and display board.

Please pray for the delegates as they have returned to Nigeria, Botswana, the Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the USA that they will be able to establish Reformation Societies, Transformation Teams and Christian Action Groups in their communities.

For those who were not able to take part in this inspiring Biblical Worldview Summit, CDs, DVDs and MP3’s are available for most of the 25 presentations and 4 workshops.

You can also obtain the Biblical Worldview Manual and other textbooks for your church, home, study group or school: Understanding the Times, The Battle for Truth, Mind Siege, Biblical Principles for Africa and Renaissance or Reformation.

Plan now to attend the next Biblical Worldview Summit at the end of June 2007.
