RECLAIMING SOUTH AFRICA FOR CHRIST - Conference and Outreach in Cape Town

Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Do you long for Spiritual revival? If it is your prayer to see God turn back the rising tide of Godlessness in our society, then the upcoming Reclaiming South Africa for Christ Biblical Worldview Summit (24-30 June) is for you.
The Biblical Worldview Summit will be held at the Mizpah Camp and Conference Centre near Grabouw. The BWS begins with supper 6 PM on Friday 24 June. The Summit will be 6 days packed full with inspiring speakers, great presentations, hands on practicals, uplifting films, challenging workshops and discussion groups, and outreaches into Xolanaledi, a very needy community nearby. Participants have registered from all over South Africa, and from as far away as Canada, Ghana, Nigeria, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the United States of America. We have a great line-up of speakers including: Rev. Greg Denysschen, the Founder and Director of Jivannadi Mission and Good News Community Radio in Natal. Greg has a tremendous ministry, most of his congregation is made up of Christians from Muslim and Hindu backgrounds. He is a world-recognised authority on Eastern religions, the New Age and the occult. The dynamic Dr. Fritz Haus, pioneer Baptist missionary and theologian from Germany (who fought on the Eastern Front and in the North African desert in the Second World War, holding prayer meetings and Bible studies throughout the war, and reaching thousands of prisoners with the Gospel of Christ during his time as a prisoner of war) will be our special guest preacher for the Sunday morning service. Dr Kenneth Meshoe, MP: the President of the African Christian Democratic Party and Mrs. Cheryllyn Dudley, MP, will also be speakers at the Reclaiming South Africa for Christ Conference. George Oesch of KwaSizabantu Mission, John Leech of Waymakers, Dorothea Scarborough of the Gospel Defence League, Charl van Wyk of Africa Christian Action, Erin Georgiou of Winning Way and other leaders will also make up the panel of speakers who will inform, inspire and challenge participants at this Biblical Worldview Summit. There are two extreme reactions that seem to be paralyzing most Christians in South Africa today. There are those that see no problem, and those who see no hope. The result is that most Christians have either given up the fight, or they have not even realised that there is a spiritual world war raging for the soul of South Africa. We need to wake up those who claim that there is no problem, and we need to inspire those that have given up all hope, emboldening them with the Biblical vision of victory and a practical program of action. The Reclaiming South Africa for Christ Conference will be practical. It aims to clean up our communities, to establish Reformation Societies in our suburbs, and Transformation Teams on university campuses and schools. It will promote an intensely practical program on how to win our neighbors to Christ through a lifestyle of evangelism. It will include spiritual warfare, identifying the contemporary threats and challenges, and how to use available technology to fulfil the Great Commission. It will deal with the power of Biblical holiness, restoration through restitution, the Christian work ethic, uprooting the root of bitterness, laying foundations for the future through Christian education, the balance between Law and Grace, evaluating how Hollywood distorts history, how to make wise media choices for our families, and much, much more. The Biblical Worldview Summit caters for all ages. A separate children’s programme will be available. Discounts are available for families, group bookings and students. APPEAL FOR XOLANALEDI
As part of the outreaches into the nearby informal settlement near Grabouw, Frontline Fellowship is requesting blankets, warm clothes, raincoats, rubber boots, baby clothes and children’s wear. These gifts will be entrusted to a local mission and local churches in the community to distribute to the most needy in this cold, wet and wind swept community. This relief project will be carried out along with mass Gospel literature distributions, personal evangelism and film outreaches with the “Jesus” film in Xhosa and Sotho and with “The Passion” film.
