Summit Ministries focuses on life-changing ideas . Everyone has a “worldview”, a way of interpreting everything that happens in the world. There will be daily opportunities for hiking, obstacle course, team building exercises, problem solving activities and water sports in a nearby lake. We also plan to put feet to our faith with outreaches in the area.
Summit Ministries was founded in Colorado by Dr. David Noebel (author of “Mind Siege”, “The Battle for Truth” and “Understanding the Times”) in 1962. The Summit is geared especially for senior high school students and university students.
Summit helps you realise your God given potential to take positive action to change your world for Christ. This is accomplished through a unique programme of: guest lecturers, international speakers, authors and key leaders in their fields, special video presentations from all over the world, discussion groups, practicals, outreaches, outdoor activities, projects and interaction with others determined to make an impact on the world for Christ. Detailed manuals, textbooks and lecture notes are provided as part of the course.

Preparing For University
Statistically, 75% of young people with a Christian background who enrol at university stop going to church. For any army to lose 3/4 of its forces is catastrophic. (See: Universities - Hijacking our Youth?)
The Summit Youth Leadership and Worldview Training Course will be practically preparing students to deal with the issues, temptations and pressures of university. The Summit equips students with the facts and the skills they need to deal with humanism and evolutionism. The Summit applies the Biblical Worldview to all areas of life.

The Summit is a crash-course to enable students to analyse competing worldviews, to understand and articulate the Christian worldview, to enable them to answer the toughest questions and to equip them with the skills and the confidence they need to respond to every challenge to their Christian faith.
Christianity is not for the weak minded. It is not enough to simply believe. You have to know what you believe and why you believe. And you need to be able to defend it. The Summit will enable you to understand and respond in a Biblical way to everything from Relativism to Dualism, from Hollywood to Humanism, from Marxism to Islam. The Summit can change your life.
At the Summit you will encounter real Christians seeking to live with integrity and deal honestly and intelligently with life's challenges. The Summit is held in a camp site situated in the mountains, in a forest and overlooking a lake. Accommodation is in tents. Most lectures are accompanied by PowerPoint and manuals and textbooks are provided as part of the course.
