If
God can change you, then God can use you to change some
part of this world.
Christians
can change the course of history because our Sovereign God
is Almighty, His Word, the Bible, is the power of God for
the salvation of everyone who believes, and God answers
prayer.
"I looked for a man among them who would build
up the wall and stand before Me in the gap on behalf of
the land so I would not have to destroy it…"
Ezekiel 22:30
There
are many anti-Christian forces seeking to undermine and
destroy the Christian faith and Biblical morals in schools,
hospitals, government and the media. But most Christians
have abandoned their moral responsibility to bring the light
of the Gospel into heathen darkness.
"You are the salt of the earth…You are the
light of the world…In the same way, let your light
shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and
praise your Father in Heaven." Matthew 5:13-16
If
you are concerned about the deterioration of morals, the
state of our schools, the rampant crime, legalised abortion
and other social evils then you should sign up for the Week
of Action.
"Have
nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but
rather expose them." Ephesians 5:11
The
Week of Action is an intensive, practical, hands on training
programme for Christians who want to be salt and light in
their communities.
Ministry
leaders from Africa Christian Action, Christians for Truth,
True Love Waits, Doctors for Life, Gospel Defence League,
Frontline Fellowship and Waymakers will give you insight
and training as to how you can become an effective Christian
activist and reformer. Practicals will include: prayer vigils,
placards protests, literature outreaches, writing letters
to the editor, radio phone in programmes, debating skills,
how to organise a demonstration, how to start an action
group, an evangelism workshop, sidewalk counseling, personal
evangelism, a Christian heritage tour, and much more!
