Brigadier General Benton Partin is one of the world's foremost authorities on weapons technology. Twenty five years of his thirty one years of active service in the United States Air Force were involved in intensive research, design, development, testing and management of weapons - particularly precision guided weapons. General Partin served as Commander of the Airforce Armament Technology Laboratory and was the first Chairman of the Office of the Secretary of Defence Joint Service Air Munitions Requirements and Development Committee.

General Partin is recognised as a pioneer and major guiding force behind the modern precision guided weapons systems. As far back as the late 1950's he developed the earliest focused energy weapons program and initiated laser weapons development.

General Partin has continued a lifelong study and analysis of global terrorism to forecast the future course of world military/ political and economic transforming process.
