The Apostle Paul was waiting for Silas and Timothy to join him in Athens. It could be up to three weeks before they arrived. Meanwhile, to redeem the time, "...he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily." Acts 17:17 He didn't wait for folks to come to him and hear the Gospel, he waded into the crowded Malls in Athens to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior.

Last week, following Paul's example, FRONTLINE FELLOWSHIP's office staff and Team evangelists waded into five shopping malls around Cape Town on National Women's Day, 10 August. They set up literature tables, conducted Spiritual Well-Being Surveys, which incorporates, "Way of the Master" and "Evangelism Explosion" questions and gave free New Testaments to all who complete these questionnaires. Thousands of balloons with Scriptural messages were prepared and given to the children, plus many thousands of Gospel tracts and leaflets specially designed and printed for these outreaches in shopping centers. They've also been invited to set up a book table and literature display in a major shopping Mall in Cape Town at the end of this month.

On a family note: Deborah, our oldest daughter is (as I write these words) jetting towards Phoenix at 500 mph for her annual 2-week visit. We're looking forward to those 4-hour breakfasts and other extended times of fellowship and catching up on the news from Salzburg, Austria as well as South Africa, where she spent 2-weeks earlier this month with her sister Lenora.

Speaking of Lenora, she is scheduled for her 12th chemo-infusion on Friday this week. Please continue to pray for her as she makes a final decision with her oncologist about radiation follow-up.

Grandchildren in the news: Andrea (Hammond) Combs and hubby Hunter are expecting their first child early next month. Calvin Hammond (16) is safely back home from the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan. Christopher Hammond (20) is vigorously training for a karate tournament in October in Zurich, Switzerland. He, along with four other young men, will represent South Africa.

Daniel Lemke (22), is somewhere in the Washington, D.C. area having ridden his bike 4 months and almost 4,000 miles across America, raising awareness of the not-often-talked-about tragedy of sex slavery in the USA. He's having an amazing adventure along the way, speaking in churches, home meetings and interviews on local radio and TV. Please pray for his safety and try to keep up with him: Bikethroughtraffick.com
