Distractions for a 'perfect storm' PDF Print E-mail

Please continue to pray for our Frontline team - Mike, Renee and Daniel - now ministering to the South Sudanese military personnel in the border area. Remember, during the 20-year war between the Arab Muslim North and the Black Christian South, over 2 million Christians were slaughtered. Western media ignored the carnage.

In the late 1990s Dr. Peter Hammond trained and equipped over 75 Chaplains to serve with the SPLA (the good guys). This helped turn the tide of Africa's forgotten war and ultimately led to the newly independent country of South Sudan.

The Rwandan genocide in April 1994 claimed the lives of over 800,000 members of the minority Tutsi tribe. Most were killed with machetes, partly because of gun control. The UN had helped disarm the entire population thus enabling the massacre by the majority Hutu tribe. While Rwanda's rivers ran red with blood, the world was distracted by the mass-media focus on Nelson Mandela, the ANC and South Africa's elections.

There is serious concern in South Africa today that a 'perfect storm' is brewing. Rumors have been rife for well over a decade that "when Mandela dies" there are well organized plans by the Communist Party in South Africa, to launch nation-wide massacres of Whites and Coloreds - Rwanda-style.

There is no shortage of possible 'distractions' - current IRS scandals in the USA, the unresolved boondoggle in Benghazi (of which the Present Resident's 'October Surprise' is the only scenario that answers every question), not to mention the possibility of a sneak attack by a rogue state with a single high-altitude nuclear explosion over our mid-West creating an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that would instantly knock out all computers, electrical grids, cell-phones, GPS, telecommunication and defense systems across the continent of North America. "...in the last days perilous times will come:.. evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:1, 13

As Christians we are ultimately victorious, "... because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4 "Be of good cheer," Jesus said, "I have overcome the world." Paul reminds us: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Tim 1:7 Tell your friends about Jesus - the "Friend of sinners" - today!

Yours in His grip,
