Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour , Jesus Christ.

Thank you very much for your letter. We do appreciate critical feedback and seriously consider your point of view.

Our first concern is to be faithful to the Great Commission of our Lord and Saviour , Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations, teaching obedience to all things that the Lord has commanded.

His Great Command to love God and to love our neighbor must be our daily guiding concern.

We are commanded to be Salt and Light, to preserve what is good, and to expose what is bad (Matthew 5:13-16).

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11

“Who will rise up for Me against the wicked? Who will make a stand for Me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalm 94:16

We are commanded to “speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.” Proverbs 31:8. This most certainly must include pre-born babies, over one million of whom have been killed through abortion, legally, officially, with taxpayer’s money, since 1997.

You are wrong that we “kept your mouths shut-up while blacks suffered under your hands”. You obviously do not know us that you can say such a thing. First of all, no blacks have suffered under our hands. I have been dedicated to serving the people of Africa as a missionary for the last 30 years. I have risked my life on innumerable times, including suffering imprisonment and torture in communist prisons, and bombardment by the Arabs in Sudan, while serving the black Christians of Mozambique, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Congo, Nigeria, Rwanda and Sudan. I have established hospitals, clinics, well over 100 schools, trained pastors, teachers, chaplains, medics, delivered hundreds of thousands of Bibles and many tonnes of medicines, food and agricultural tools and seed to some of the most needy, suffering black people on the continent.

At one of the very first camps we ever ran, when the camp owners insisted that the black people of our Fellowship could not stay as it was a whites-only campsite (this was 1983), we all chose to leave the campsite that night in solidarity with our brothers.

I have physically fought to protect individual black people from injustice. But you wouldn’t have known any of that.

Do not assume that a person who opposes the injustices and corruption of the ANC were supporters of apartheid. We criticized the National Party, and we are also criticizing the ANC.

This is what freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of association, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion is all about. We have the constitutional right, and more importantly the Biblical duty, to speak us against all injustice.

May I ask what you have been doing to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves?

What have you done to help those who are suffering?

May the Lord continue to lead you into all truth.

Yours for the fulfillment of the Great Commission
