It was on 31 October 1517, that Dr. Martin Luther launched the greatest century of Reformation with his bold stand at the Castle Church in Wittenberg! 31 October is celebrated as the birthday of Evangelical, Bible believing churches worldwide.
Please join us for a HISTORIC TOUR of the HUGUENOT MUSEUM & MONUMENT, CULTURAL PERFORMANCES BY THE EUROCHOR and REFORMATION CELEBRATION SERVICES
TOUR of HUGUENOT MONUMENT and MUSEUM in FRANSCHHOEK – Monday, 31 October
TIME: 10am – 12noon.
COST: R2/child and R10/adult (for entrance to Museum).
No charge for this guided tour on 31 October.
Hear history come alive when Christian Missionary and Historian, Dr. Peter Hammond, leads a guided tour of the Huguenot Museum and Monument.
Western civilisation has been blessed with the greatest freedoms, productivity and prosperity ever known in history. The liberty, standards of justice and creativity enjoyed in Western civilisation are a direct result of the Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century.
REFORMATION CELEBRATION SERVICE – Monday, 31 October
Join us in Franschhoek, for the Reformation Day Celebration Service, with the Eurochor (www.eurochor.com) The choir will also lead us in Reformation Celebration Hymns such as Luther’s A Mighty Fortress is Our God.
There is no charge for those entering the Monument to attend this service.
After the Service, a picnic lunch will be available. Please RSVP, should you wish to be included for an already-packed picnic lunch. Cost: R30/person.
(If it is raining, then the midday Reformation Day Service will be held in the Dutch Reformed Church)

EUROCHOR CONCERT in FRANSCHHOEK – Monday, 31 October
The Eurochor is planning on presenting a multilingual concert from 3-5PM in the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church in Franschhoek. Entrance is free.
The Eurochor is unique in every way. With over 150 members drawn from Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Romania, this youth choir has thrilled audiences throughout the world with their multilingual, varied, colourful and captivating concerts.
