FOR BILL BATHMAN

Thank you very much for praying for Rev. Bill Bathman, the Chairman of the Board of Frontline Fellowship. By God’s grace, the surgery was successful in removing all the cancer from his left lung.

Bill Bathman reports that his strength is gradually being restored. Last Sunday he was able to attend church services again.

He writes: “My health has been steadily improving day by day and I am thankful for all the ministry work that we’ve been able to accomplish in the last two weeks. It is your prayers, cards, e-mails and comments on the http://pennireef1west blog that have lifted us up to the throne of grace and given us great peace and assurance in the presence of our Lord. As you pray for us, know that we are also praying for you – that we might be joined together in purpose and praise for the Glory of Jesus Name.

“Our day was made much brighter today, when our eldest daughter, Deborah, walked through the door after travelling from Salzburg, Austria, across two continents, an ocean and nine time zones to arrive here in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a joyful reunion for us.”

Next week, Lenora and Andrea will be travelling through to join them in Phoenix, and they will be joined by Lenora’s other sister, Linda. This will be the first reunion of all the Bathmans in one place in 25 years.

Please continue to pray for Rev. Bill Bathmans recovery, and as he works on his next book, a follow on to the successful Going Through – Even if the Door is Closed. Going Through ended with the coming down of the Berlin Wall in 1989. This book will give the rest of the story.

Bill Bathman has also marked the 20 th anniversary of the coming down of the Berlin Wall and opening up of the Iron Curtain with articles which will be published in the next editions of JOY! Magazine and Frontline Fellowship News.
