FOR THE PEOPLE TO CONTINUE SEEKING CHRIST

The rapid growth of Christianity (six million added annually) has led to inadequate discipling. Syncretism, including the fear of witchcraft and evil spirits, and nominalism weakens the church. Pray for effective leadership training.

TO OVERCOME THE GREAT LOGISTICAL OBSTACLES

20% of the world's land surface with 10% of the world's population speaking 1995 languages (30% of the world's total). The need for missionaries continues to be far greater than the supply.

THE CHALLENGE OF BIBLE TRANSLATIONS

3000 ethno-linguistic people groups. 133 languages have full Bibles, 250 have New Testaments only, 230 have Gospel portions only. 300 languages have translation work in progress.

THE POLITICALLY UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT

Since 1960, 85 violent changes of government have occurred with over 30 national leaders being assassinated or executed. Currently there are 42 dictatorships and 14 wars raging.

FOR THE PEOPLE TO SEEK GOD AMIDST TRIALS

Natural, political and economic disasters have plagued Africa in recent years. May the resilience of African Christians amidst trials glorify God and further His Kingdom.

THE CHALLENGE OF ISLAM

Christians are restricted and pressured (often violently) in the 17 countries that are officially Islamic. Of the 260 million Muslims in Africa, 130 million live in the sub-Sahara.

LOVE IN ACTION

FF Ministry teams share the Love of Christ as they go to the neglected areas and meet physical, medical and spiritual needs. Caring for widows, orphans and the wounded.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

FF Ministry teams hold up to 20 seminars a year... making disciples and teaching obedience. Equipping national pastors and other leaders to serve the suffering and teach the Word of God.

LITERATURE EVANGELISM

FF Ministries publish an average of 80 items a year. Bibles, Hymn books, Christian books and Gospel literature are distributed in up to 100 languages by FF teams (over 300 000 Bibles and books into Sudan alone during the last 11 years).
