Islamic Mission Sponsored by Libya

Islam plans to intensify Muslim missionary activity, especially in countries with Muslim minorities. At a recent meeting of the Muslim World League, a programme developed by the “Society for the Proclamation and Propagation of Islam” was presented. This Society is supported by Libya and operates world-wide. The Society has founded the first college for Muslim mission in Tripoli. In all, there are 10000 Muslim missionaries worldwide. (By way of comparison, there are 3 700 Christian missionaries to the Muslim world). Islam, with 854-million adherants, is the fastest-growing religion in the world.
