What has Frontline Fellowship Achieved?

In the midst of all the desperate needs and challenges of Africa, what has Frontline Fellowship accomplished?

As our Mission continues into its tenth year of “fighting the good fight of faith”, we can praise God that He has Sovereignly guided, provided for and protected our missionaries through hundreds of field out-reaches to 15 countries, along millions of kilometres. Through these outreaches, and in answer to prayer, God has graciously used our Mission to:

• pioneer missionary work into war-ravaged Mozambique and Angola, scouting, researching and developing a comprehensive Christian strategy for evangelising the war zones;
• minister in neglected and desperately needy areas of Southern and Central Africa, opening up “closed areas” and forbidden territories;
• assist persecuted Christians and prisoners with emergency relief aid, encouragement, Bibles and Bible teaching;
• develop a network of couriers, evangelists and field workers to distribute Scriptures and Gospel material;
• deliver tons of Bibles, Gospel records and Christian literature in 85 languages to suffering Christians;
• provide extensive leadership training of over 1 500 pastors, evangelists and other Christian leaders in the war zones;
• speak up for the persecuted, publishing the sufferings and testimonies of believers in print, on radio and TV and in hundreds of international meetings every year.
• pioneer military outreach, evangelising soldiers, guerillas and terrorists on all sides of the many conflicts in Southern Africa. Peter Hammond has personally held over 1 000 outreaches amongst military personnel in 12 different countries. Through these evangelistic meetings and hundreds of film evangelism rallies, we have established regular prayer meetings and Bible study groups in military units, and even led hundreds of enemy troops and terrorists to Christ;
• organise and participate in leadership training seminars, workshops and conferences in South Africa to apply the Lordship of Christ to all areas of life. We teach over a thousand Christian leaders a year a comprehensive Biblical response to the issues and challenges of our time;
• network and co-operate with other Bible- believing Christians to provide encouragement and assistance in a co-ordi nated Christian response on pro-life, moral, family and other Biblical issues.
